A: Double row angular contact ball bearings are composed of inner ring, outer ring, ball and cage assembly. The cage material can be nylon, stamped steel plate or brass. The structure of double row angular contact ball bearings is similar to a slightly narrowed pair of 0-type angular contact ball bearings. But the difference lies in the design of the contact angle and the ring. The bearings are divided into open and sealed designs. Sealed bearings are maintenance-free, so an economical bearing arrangement can be achieved. Double row angular contact ball bearings can withstand bidirectional axial forces and high radial forces. This type of bearing is particularly suitable for bearing configurations that require axial rigid guidance. The axial load capacity depends on the contact angle. That is, the larger the contact angle (contact angle = 25°9, 35°, 45°), the greater the axial load that the bearing can withstand.
Double row angular contact ball with a contact angle of 25° is an inseparable bearing. Inseparable product rings have no ball notch and the load capacity in both directions is the same. The main series are 38..-B, 30..-B, 32..-B and 33..-B. Double row angular contact ball bearings of the 32 and 33 series with a contact angle of 35° are also inseparable products and have a ball slot on one side. When installing bearings with ball slots on the rings, ensure that the raceway on the side without the ball slot bears the main load. That is, the raceway on the side with the slot should not bear a large load.
Double row angular contact ball bearings with a contact angle of 45° have a double inner ring structure. Therefore, they can withstand large axial loads in both directions. The double inner ring is matched to a specific bearing and cannot be replaced even with double inner rings of the same size bearing.
The internal axial clearance of double row angular contact ball bearings of standard design is the normal group (CN). There are also bearings with larger clearance (C3) or smaller clearance (C2). Bearings with double inner rings are used to withstand larger axial loads. Its fit is usually tighter than that of bearings with a solid inner ring. The double inner ring design of the ordinary clearance group is equivalent to the C3 group internal clearance of the integral inner ring design. The angle adjustment function of the double row angular contact ball bearing is very limited. The common structure is shown in the figure below.
